This class addresses the critical need for further need of education and training for current professionals who offer operation and maintenance for onsite wastewater treatment systems. It can also be used as a training course for future professionals entering the onsite wastewater treatment and systems maintenance industry.  Course content includes: Implementing an O&M Service Contract; Introduction to Wastewater; O&M Service Provider Program Introduction; System Evaluation Forms; Safety, Business and Industry Ethics; Site Assessment; Pretreatment Components: Tanks, Pump Tanks, Pumps, and Controls, Aerobic Treatment Units, Chlorine Disinfection, Ultraviolet Light Disinfection Units; Lagoons, Media Filters, Drip Distribution, Gravity Distribution, Low-Pressure Drainfields (LPD)
